I get this aggravating message quite frequently that the 'download quota' for my IP address has been 'exceeded' and I have to wait or buy their stupid app. I use a VPN, but apparently it does not hide my IP address from MEGA. Anyone else know a way around this?

    Thanks

I would imagine that Mega have a record of VPN servers that they deny access to. You can usually get around this by connecting to other servers in different countries. It can take a while to find one that works.

@Kayma try JDownloader. I have it set up to catch the links I copy, then it downloads all of them with no "wait" or "exceeded" or anything.

    https://jdownloader.org/download/index

Takes a little bit to set it up, but I use it all the time now. No ads. 🙂

Just message me if you need help. 🙂

I sometimes will use my phone as a hotspot (as I have over 100Gb of data), if I want to beat their data requirements.

.. if I am not wrong.. Mega has a 5gb limit per day for free accounts.. changing your ip address will bypass the limit (.. i guess that is what jDownloader also does)..
