Is anyone else finding that Mega is deleting uploads more frequently. It used to be once in every 6 or so months for me, if even that, and I used to get a warning. Now I've had a three deletions in a month, without any warning, one of which was a whole folder. I hope this is just a one off event.

June 14, 2021 at 4:17 PM #1702623I use Mediafire, and [knocking on wood] haven't lost a file yet
That being said, I DO have a paid-for account there which I pay 45 USD annually.June 15, 2021 at 1:30 AM #1702775I had about ten pages of uploads on here that got deleted. I'm pretty sure a couple of other sites just upload the original share dl link and that is the reason I lost all my shares.
I'm looking at you render-state.to/ :@
June 15, 2021 at 1:33 PM #1702907The tech is doable, but onerous. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea, and the code would be pretty easy to do from the hosting side.
However, I don't see a hosting site which would want to restrict downloads to a specific referral link - they don't care how you get there, as long as you see their ads while you click the d/l link. I suppose a paid hosting site could do it as a paid-for feature, but otherwise it'd require more work than the site would profit from.
June 15, 2021 at 4:14 PM #1702937Odd. My Mega account has over 40 products shared, dating back to April 2018 and none have been deleted. Perhaps other behaviors are attracting the attention of Mega on certain accounts?
June 15, 2021 at 4:42 PM #1702957@Duval Yes, it could be certain vendors. I noticed the majority of deletions are outwith Daz Studio purchases. Forender vendors seem to take exception, Rui Tachibana link being a recent example. I had to renew that link.
June 15, 2021 at 10:26 PM #1703006I think Renderotica are pretty vigilant with sites like ZGFX and as you say, some Daz vendors also actively protect their products but as a whole, I don't think Daz themselves actively issue DMCAs.
