    Hello all,
Haven't been here in a while and that's because my HDD crashed and burned, with my whole DAZ library on it, unrecoverable. My personnal work was on a backup external HDD, so... phew ! I got a brand new HDD but obviously I can't open anything without my old Daz library. Gotto make a new one. I'm assuming I just have to get all the stuff back from wherever I got it, stuff it back in a new folder on the new drive, but with the same path ? Would that work ?

Has this happened to you ? What's the best method to get everything back and running ?

    Thanks for your advice.

I just had that happen to me i re-did it from scratch , but yeah if you keep the stuff in the same locations under the same names (paths) there should be no prob, if not u might have to point DAZ to your own files (work) locations

    Thanks for your answer.
I was able to open a file with only one element missing which was a face with makeup, as it was a transformed image and stocked somewhere else.

I still have a lot of work to do to get the other files to open without missing elements. It's easy to do, but it just take forever. 🙂
