Loading Scenes Crashes Daz and and rendering keeps failing

So I recently installed some files like a normally do. now whenever i try to load a previous scene daz will crash. also i have noticed that i can load a gen 8.1 base female and morph it but when i try to reload it it just keeps spinning instead of loading it. when i have loaded a gen 8.1 female and applied morphs and try to render it, the render crashes too. not sure what happened as i have not really done anything different when installing files.
i have attached the crash report and the log file from the scene i was trying to open. i cleared the log file then tried to load it so it would not be a lot on there.

On another note i was able to load a gen 8 scene but trying to rendering just closed daz completely.

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

First thing- check if you have the latest Nivida drivers for you GPU.
Second - make sure you have the latest public release of DS. G8.1 won't work properly on older versions.
Third - reinstall DS because it's not unknown to have a bad install. Back up your runtime folder. I didn't look at your zips because zip files are not secure.

ok the first 3 are from teh crash zip file and the second is the log after loading the character and it crashing. they should all pop up in gdrive for u to read and not download. I reinstalled daz and the gen 8 essentials and my gpu drivers are already updated. i have been using g8.1 for some time now and 2 days ago is when i started getting this issue. it would not even load the g8 scene but it will let me add the base model but after saving it it will not load. there is something i installed taht i am sure is the root of this but i just cannot find it. thanks

so i was able to load a scene with gen 8 female and render it but it will not load a scene with 8.1. i was able to add a 8.1 female to a new scene but rendering it gives me a white screen with a fail to render and sometimes crashes the pc. not sure what has happened to the 8.1 files. after the success of loading and rendering a gn 8 i am going to give 8.1 a try and see what happens then

That's the wrong error log. The correct one is found by going to Help > Troubleshooting > View Log File.

The correct file is called log.txt and is in the same folder as cloudLog.txt (for me: C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4)

Just to check - are you using the latest DS public release or the latest beta? I know that there are people who are having loads of problems with the beta. Ghost lights, some hairs and skin shaders are completely broken in the beta release, apparently by the new version of Iray.
Apart from that, I would go back and uninstall one-by-one the characters I installed since the problem started. Good luck.

The previous beta did break a few things, but the current beta release seems OK ( 4.15.1.96 ) 🙂

As I read yesterday in the Beta thread, They are still problems with, Ghost lights, Shaders, crashes and Iray. I roll back to the 4.15.0.30, what has not so much problems

If you 'buy' the free beta at Daz, the dim installer will flag up the download & install for you.

That is the ONLY thing I use the dim installer for.

thanks for the help all. @EEgloo i was able to get the updated studio and now some of the things are loading just taking a long time to load. i think though that something with the breastacular add on may have broken as those i still have trouble loading. i know on that log file i posted there seems to be a lot of errors with some files and i was going to try to lock them down and delete them from all files to get rid of them but i am having a hard time locating the asset that they belong too. the one thing that sucks about manual install of these files

It's not going to help you now, but what I do with manual installs is use a separate temporary runtime for them. I unpack the files there, then test them in Daz. Every week or so - depending on how much I've installed - I'll copy the contents of the temp runtime into my main runtime folder. That way, if I do install something that breaks DS or another product, I can just delete the contents of the temp runtime and only lose a few days worth of downloads.

ok i think i might have to give that a try. i want t o reinstall everything but that seems like a daunting task to undertake
