Know of any channels that deal with old poser stuff?

Good list. Some of them are harder to navigate, but still a great resource.

If you can put up with most of the text being in russian, I'd recommend the cgperec and m0nkrus telegram channels. Not much there for 3d models, but lots of apps and add-ons. https://t.me/cgperec in particular has tons of blender and ad0be add-ons. I don't think they are connected with cgpersia/cgpeers, but I've noticed that everything that gets released on cgpeers shows up on cgperec's telegram channel within a couple of days. It's great for getting older kitbash3d and other 60Gb+ packages that don't have a lot of seeders anymore. For those who can't get an account on cgpeers, I'd give cgperec a try. It's on the orginal list posted, but it's worth pointing out again. I usually get something from there at least daily.

I don't particularly like downloading huge bundles of content. So that site really didn't do much for me. I suppose I'll check it out at some point if I see a kitbash 3D item I want, but I'll probably look for it elsewhere if I'm forced to download several other products in the same group of archives, just for one, when each archive is 4 GB and there's 7-20 of them you have to unzip as a group. I really don't want to download 80 GB just to discard most of it. However Blender Free Universe has definitely struck gold with me, because the files are limited to one thing, and it's usually a managable size like under 1 GB (sometimes only 300 MB) for very detailed models + textures. When you're trying to create a 3d scene, the size limits are important because it's possible to get fabulous results even from lower poly models saving on memory and rendering capacity. You can quickly reach over 1 million polys in a scene full of low poly models which hits a memory/rendering ceiling. Not to mention breaking a huge file into each part can become tedious when you want to set up asset libraries and use instances rather than place each object in the scene as it's own unique model. Instancing can cut down on memory hogging a lot. If there are any blender plugins that make that easier I'd brobably be interested in those for sure, especially if they allow for randomized alternative textures/model variants, so it doesn't start to look samey.
