    Lady Galadriel

I keep failing to get the hair properly working... I'll need to consider a complete hair overhaul, but I like the rest of the image enough...

EDIT: Most of Tipol's dynamic fantasy gowns are a pain to simulate, compared to most everything else. At the ending frames of the simulation, I had some 300 calculated drapes per frame, and the simulation took more than the rendering process

Spot on, Adam. Sadly, I'm still looking to find a Galadriel proper hair that's not toonish, with poor alpha mapping

might sound like a basic question but have you tried using different hair shaders on this hair? its worked for me on older models.

The shaders are fine. It's the exact same hair, under different morphs, that M4 has on, on my Lestat piece. It's the alpha mapping, that is very rough on transparencies. When it's darker, like regular blonde, or brown, or dark hair, the problem gets snuffed down, there are no blocky shadows between hair blocks. But, on platinum blonde, and white, this is very apparent.
Normally, one would draw the hair to perfection in photoshop, but... my freehand drawing skills are like T-Rex... long extinct and fossilised.

in PS try finding a head with long hair close to the same angle. make several layers and rather than just dropping the hair on, chop the hair up in sections. use deform gently to poste over what you have. Make the layers a little transparent to blend. once it looks ok, flatten it and do it again. use clone and heal to fix mild issues.

Ive done this a few times on people using their own hair so it was a bit easier to match. This will add RL texture. Color will have to be played with.

This is how i get around not being able to draw.
It usually works for me doing minor adjustments in photos.

In not done it on a full head of hair but, it seems like it would work.
