Sure, but the tkmbi initial name you picked will remain your account name, that is not changeable. You can go to your member page and change your DISPLAY name to something else.

But if someone wants to pay you points, they must send them to the original name or you won't get the points. So they must send them to @tkmbi even if your display nickname is something else.

You can change your "display name, profile name" but nobody gonna see it under your Profile picture, what it should be.
Under your profile picture you see only your account name (what is not changeable). So with other words...changing your "display name, profile name" Has No Sense.

The name you created at the start is not changeable. Only the name displayed is. This is WordPress based and the only way to eliminate the base name is to create a new account, and move all your blogposts, points, and messages to that new name. It's such a hassle to do, but if you need your base account name changed, just open a totally new account, and send yourself all your points to the new one. But any points you may earn from the stuff you posted on the blog are attached to your old name.

If someone needs to change the base name it's a nightmare.

Plus who comes into a Pirate site and signs up with the same nickname as they use on Daz, Rendo, Rotica, RenderHub and other sites?

However, it's been done before.

So it makes sense how it works in that the first username is used like a bank account number. I don't think people demand banks to change their bank account number just because they don't like the Feng Shui of the numbers. So think of it that way, the first nickname is the fixed bank account number, but the display name is an alias you show so you can post visual comments etc. Only the moment someone must put points into your account, you must use your bank account number, get it?

I don't think it is allowed to make a multiple account here in ZGFX and move your points and your stuff from one to another account.

I also don't care if my name under my profiles photo is correct or not. It is just a statement that you can not change your Profile name.
