I'm a huge fan of several artist that at the same time are DAZ vendors... however, since the birth of Genesis9, there is a general downgrade of the quality of any item in that store.
I remember the times where V4 could be extremely ugly... but you could use the SanctumArt GRIM ARMOR.
Now, any G9 mediocre character with any lame item needs half of your hard drive...
The straw that breaks the camel's back has been this item from the formerly great LUTHBEL:

We are moving backwards. That very same downgrade happens in Bluejaunte, OOT, Lilflame, Kayleyss (now DAZ original, so his/her work is lost in anonimyty...

You're preaching to the converted here, this comes up often. The best thing you can do is scream long and loud at Rendo and Daz. You'll be banned from posting if you get too insistent but it will get the message to them that the 'enshittification' of their products are being noticed and NOT appreciated.
You can shop at the sites of independent artists like 3D Shards. They take pride in their items there.I'm going to take an educated guess that the problem lies in G9 rather than with the vendors themselves, although they might have given up trying with that base already! :0/
With previous generations, some skilled vendors were able to optimise their products so that they were lightweight in footprint & performed well.
It seems very difficult to do that with G9.
If everyone posts once that they are not buying G9 until the quality improves and do it. They will eventually get the message or foolishly insist the titanic is unsinkable.
Even though they get deleted, they're read and they'll get the message. If folks let Daz know that they don't buy there anymore and instead support folks like Sade at 3D Shards, someone will have to pay attention. I expect that Tafi will try to sell Daz at some point and hopefully someone with brains will buy it and turn it around.
Almost never can get shoes right. Even if they are for the exact figure.
