I've only just started with the 3d daz etc stuff but I guess I'm pretty guilty of one click bam 'art' renders so far.
and just btw I significantly preferred your yacht lady summer render if that makes any difference.What yacht lady is being referred to?

@jbuckland1984 I'm a major introvert. Always have been. I can talk about art, scifi stuff to strangers, but general convos, nope. I just clam up. I feel extremely uncomfortable around humans.

I've had my art compared to the likes of Frazetta and Boris, which is a huge compliment, but I don't see it. Then again, things are different now. The market has changed since the 60s and 70s with the internet and all.I've read up on shit to promote oneself and seriously, you wind up spending more time on promotion than creating art. I just can't do that. And you're right. I can't afford to pay someone to do it for me. LOL

I agree, and I'm prouder of the yacht lady, although, I REALLY like the skin texture and subsurface scattering of that Lainey character. But the posing and the morphs that went into "Sailin' Away" were much more refined.@jbuckland
It's what would commonly be called the rimlight in a 3-point light system, although two of the 3-point lights in this composition are provided by the IBL. The rimlight creates a perceived separation from the background. Here is a screenshot to demonstrate. The lumens are cranked waaay up.@robf4g210 you actually did more than what I was talking about and it looks good.
I tried to do a search and even plop renders are turning out better now because of DS.. But still. As an example, the render link below is a Push button with no thought or time and has more attention to ANYTHING I've put out.Also, let me say, I watermark my shit and rarely put out large pieces. Most everything I do is for sale, except copyright fan art. Though I'm thinking about doing limited run fan art pieces now.
well damn plop render aside I really like that model, although it looks a little like it might be a teen Josie or variant.
there are some non-symmetrical figures (https://www.daz3d.com/the-old-hag-robes) but only to create some type of witches or for some specific date of the year but honest HAG is an exception

I actually go against the grain a little. I don't really diversify with my user name.
I've got galleries in most of the mainstream galleries, both Rendero*** (fill in the suffix, and DA, although I neglect DA a little. I kind of forget it's there.
Pretty cool stuff in your gallery. I'll take more time to browse when I'm not so slammed. I hit the "watch" button.
@jbuckland1984 interesting gallery, "for your consideration" is amazingly creepy btw and the expression on the womans face in "truth or dare" is brilliant.
