    Ok so I tried this on a simple render. Anyone else use IES in renders?

    I use IES in 3dsMAX, I havent tried it in DAZ as i've read it doesn't work great (but so much stuff is out of date maybe its fine now)

    the blue is his bottom lip. I didnt have him grinning. At least I think so. Its the first time ive ever used it.

    It's such a weird model, I can kind of see now that it's smirking rather than grinning but it looks strange. Maybe it's the baked in shadowing? And that is a pretty big chin for a cat...

    That cheshire cat is very American McGee's Alice, which is a dark fantasy take on Alice in Wonderland.

    re: IES files, you can get them from pretty much every manufacturer of lighting on the planet, they tend to put up downloads of the IES profiles of their lights for interior designers and such, i.e. Never pay for IES profiles unless they're specially funky.
