OK, I'm admitting defeat. I've looked all over, and I'm sure I'll be embarrassed once the answer is known but I cannot find this pesky robot anywhere.

Close, but not a match. The body shape is a bit different and the legs are very different. Overall the same style, but not quite. Thanks for looking!
Yup, you found the original where my quest had started. I thought, "I don't remember that droid being part of that bundle," and of course, it wasn't.
I've combed daz and rendo and haven't found it. Yet.

The robot in the background was called "Attack Robot". It was part of the Battle for the Moon Bundle, but after the first day it was replaced with the "SC20 Drones and Crates 01" because of copyright issues.They replaced it on the main promo but not on the other item (X-Fashion Sci Bodysuit 09 for Genesis 8 Females) promos:

The hinge is slightly different, and the daz version has the top center headlight, but it's clearly baaed on this model (or what ever inspired this one!)
Let's hope that the missing daz bot shows up!
