I Clone / CC4/5 animations

Ive tried adding a few animation packs that ive managed to find here and only certain ones will show up or work without a water mark - Im assuming there is some embedded information in these files that flag up if they need blocking or not, Can anyone help point me in the right direction of what i need to do? I dont mind putting the work in to sort these out, I just dont know where to start.

Uninstall the versions that you have. Install fresh.
Install metadata from "Reallusion Character Creator 5 - Metadata and Content" (find it from the trusted source, I once had it uploaded here, but not anymore -long story-)
BLOCK REALLUSION IN HOSTS

Add these lines to hosts file (LOCATION: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc)

Do i have to do this everytime i get some content i want to use?

No, just the first time. And install all the new content in that folder where you've stored all the content.

I already did all that when i first installed cc5 / iclone - things ive added later on dont always work. Do i have to enable the block hosts every time i add content?

No, block in hosts is one time job. What you need to do is to install additional content in proper folders in "Reallusion Custom" folder and run Update command from Custom Content when you open CC/IC.

Difference between DAZ and CC/IC is that, in DAZ you (mostly) have 3 main folders - People, Data and Runtime. In Reallusion software most of the vendors have their own folder hierarchy, and it's up to you to put the materials in their proper folders...

Tricky, but when you do it properly once, you will get used to it and do it properly every next time.

It all made sense and i have already done what you have said, i know i have installed it in the right place as when i right click in the empty space and click find file, the content IS there in windows explorer its just cc5 wont read it. It seems to be very random as i am installing content to the correct paths and some things work and some things dont and i dont know why.
