Hey guys!
As most of you may have noticed recently, our site seems to be running a little slow, giving rise to delays between pages and the occasional time out error (504)!
This usually happens when our database starts to get full again.
There could be any number of reasons for this, including:~ Old PM’s probably need clearing ouf from members accounts, if you could all take a little time to delete those PM's you no longer require it would be much appreciated!
~ The forums need cleaning again, posts deleted etc. I’ll try to clean some pages when I have time to spare during the week. Sorry but there's only so much time I have to spare 🙁

Each member receives 100 points when they log in for the first time each day, so they will have a record in their points history for every day they log in. If we assume most members log in most days, there must be a huge number of these records in the database. And that's even if people never bought or sold anything ...
I know some people keep the records of their purchases in case they need to reinstall, so a blanket clean-up might be too heavy handed. However, if members could at least clean out the bulk of their points history, would that help performance? But the points history doesn't seem to have any UI for deletion. Would this help (or does it exist and I just can't see the wood for the trees?)

I feel like a whiny millennial when I say,
"Gee, I wish there were a select all and delete all option",
but I just gotta say that. I have tried deleting my old messages but it only allowed me to delete the first. I'll go back later on and attempt to delete the rest.
Thank you @Tomsk for letting me know why that 504 error was coming up.
I suspected a bottleneck from the messages. I get the same from my cellphone; I don't have any pictures but then I was reminded of the ones stored in my phone's messages.Rank:@arthurgarcia Hehe no worries bud!
Notes to self:
A) Don't check the dialogue box when it says "don't let this site create dialogue" because that is why you can only delete one (unless you sign out and sign back in for each message)
B) Don't delete a comment no matter how insignificant I think it is; otherwise you'll lose 20 points. HA HA HA HA HA.
Thanks for reminding me @Tomsk why we need to do house cleaning on our end.
@AndyMc4 all point history get deleted after some time auto ...
That is not a problem now ... problem is post size 🙁 amount of post 🙁
its getting bigger 🙁
When anyone visit a page ... script search full database for related post 🙁 and it put load on the server 🙁
I think its okee now ??? i change some setting 😀
