Hey! Stop arguing and fighting! (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥
If you kindly and gently ask me to update a link, I will always do it.
But honestly, messages like "The link is dead" in a request that was fulfilled 2 weeks ago will be ignored.December 12, 2024 at 7:01 PM #21077212 weeks seem reasonable. Certainly no more than a month should be expected. As Anna (and others) have noted, some request fills get downloaded 3 or 4 times more than the number of people who offered points. Keeping download links active for a longer period of time seems to invite misuse.
December 12, 2024 at 7:05 PM #2107722I'll stand by my previous statement that members should put forth more of an effort when it comes to fills.
And I'll stand by mine you get what I give
But honestly, messages like "The link is dead" in a request that was fulfilled 2 weeks ago will be ignored.
We agree in principal, not time.
Since I have been deleting the files, the amount of theft has
dropped dramatically. There have been only one or two latecomers.
Five days seems to work for all concerned.
Those latecomers, by the way, who requested were not
on the original requestDecember 12, 2024 at 7:16 PM #2107724You see an item in the request section.
You want it.
You pledge your 500 pts and get it.
Later you find some sob went to the filler and got the link free.
Who do you blame.
The leech that stole the file.
The stupid bastard that filled it.
After 5 days (or less if abused) my files are deleted.
I am sure you can find helpful people who will
provide the link even though it cost them nothing but
a sad made up storyDecember 12, 2024 at 11:33 PM #2107734Was requested not to go into this, but compromised....
no names.Because of the way I fill requests, and delete those
files that are misused there has been a subgroup created.
For instance: I post a file with bunkr and will not create another link.
If you don't Have bunkr you go to aname on the list and ask for it.
They reup my file geta new link and send it.
Let me say this, I have no problem withpeople doing this, actually helps me.I don't have to listen to their shit.
Or
I delete a file and won't repost. Same procedure you go
to a helpful person, they reup send you link.
So far no problem with this. Now you people call them helpful, they are starting to
refer to themselves as suckers and are starting to get annoyed.
Also they are seeing my point.
Their posts to help one person are now being spread to
10 or more people that they never had any attention in assisting.
Their accounts are being looked at.
Had to say no to those people too.
Sooner or later they will stop....the helpful onesDecember 13, 2024 at 1:12 AM #2107742Pretty a couple of times per day. Sometimes I'll look at the forums, see what requests there are, or what is on the blog. Last time I shared something was a few weeks ago, as it's been three weeks since I brought anything.
December 13, 2024 at 1:30 AM #2107744My only concern is, like I said earlier, I sometimes go weeks/months without getting online (at least on the opsec level I use for piracy and other sensitive online activity), and I have some obscure items on my offer list that haven't been filled for months/close to a year. If someone fills one of those while I'm off in Mexico or working on a paper or studying or working overtime, I'm gonna be worried that I won't have a chance at getting it. Something like that may never get filled a second time, you know what I mean?
December 13, 2024 at 9:49 AM #2107817I'm on here pretty much every day to check my messages and to see what's new here and at the stores. I leave all my links up so ppl can grab them when they want plus I post every thing to the site. 🙂
December 13, 2024 at 2:02 PM #2107851Likewise - otherwise why bother.
Matters not if someone has a DL from the Blog or a filled request - some numpty will give it away to others.
No different to having a bunch of pickpockets or shoplifters running amok.
You ignore them as much as possible and just concentrate on the decent members.🙂
December 13, 2024 at 6:32 PM #2107883yup , agree 🙂
December 14, 2024 at 8:34 AM #2107984If you hate reposting or refreshing links and you enjoy sharing then just post the link in the free section for a week. Everyone can DL it and if other sites want to share it then they'll need a new link. It's put in the wild and you never need to worry about it again.
It's obvious some people have no need for points so sharing for more of something you don't need is odd. Like giving ice to an Eskimo. If it gives you a good feeling because you helped someone out then I'm not sure what the problem is. If you donate to a charity 100% of your cash rarely makes it to the needy and at least a few people skim off the top.
I guess technically you're right to share however you want but if you want respect then that's earned. The recent CEO thought being wealthy and treating lower people like crap was a smart move till some nobody changed his mind. Be kind or don't but don't pretend you're any better than anyone else. It's a nice gesture to share but you aren't making the product or losing money by sharing it. Someone else is.
December 14, 2024 at 6:26 PM #2108055Not to get this topic off track but since you brought it up...
If you think the CEO getting whacked was anything other than a hit then I have a bridge to sell you.
But when it comes to your other points on the assets, to each it's own.
December 14, 2024 at 9:41 PM #2108090Already off topic since its about site visits. I sometimes come every day others I might skip a week.
Guy is already caught so we may or may not find out more. Personally I thought it was a hit called on by someone in the company. They've been dumping stock quickly. However he seems like a nobody that may have been offered a big check. Either way he didn't do it for an adrenaline rush. CEO is a giant douche from what is being talked about. Not a fan of murder but doesn't appear the world lost a saint.
Most people walk the gray line. Yin Yang stuff. Some lean a bit more one way others lean a lot. Few things we do here I would consider the right thing to do. Pretending like your a saint and seeking praise while belittle others isnt walking a gray line from my perspective.
