dang @errilhl 16000!!!!! You've gotta be the winner. I'm thinking about nuking DAZ and starting over. I have a few figures I've created that I don't want to screw up tho, so I'll probably just use DIM to uninstall a bunch of stuff.
@ulysses I was a G3F horder until I realized all skin mats are NOT created equal. LOL. But I have a lot of G3F characters now so I really don't need any more. I'm more picky with G8F. But now I basically don't actually look at the character itself, but rather the body shape, face shape and skin texture to see if I can use them as a base for my own character.
I mostly grab just scifi and fantasy items and those, if good quality, I hoard.
@mcmodeler4 I have an issue of where I grab something I want for a project, then grab it and see something else that sparks an idea for something else which then leads me to completely forgetting about the original idea. So I wind up with stuff Ive forgotten I even have. LOLSo I wind up with stuff Ive forgotten I even have....
Which is kind-of cool when you stumble across it later!
I’m at about 2.5tb currently. The only stuff i don’t download is v4 era items
Do you have everything installed? That would be one heck of a My Daz Library if ya did.
You should keep the rar files somewhere just in case. I lost a lot of stuff a while back because my 'puter got zapped and took out my HDD and all attached USB devices (two external drives). disk space is so cheap its great to have a backup.

That is exactly why I have that 3tb drive dedicated to storing the compressed files. I had a drive failure that took out a LOT of stuff on me (not just daz stuff, either), and was REALLY upset when I had to try to recover all my stuff. So now, I keep the compressed files, install what I want, and dream of bigger HD's... (and other things! >:) )
Ive wiped my HD at least twice. Been considering doing it again. I only use a handful of characters and G8 loads slow again. Have a small handful of V4 stuff I reinstalled but never use. Been saving content for many years so no idea what i can get up to in numbers but Daz seens to want to read every file when pulling up just one. So I try to keep it low.
