I uploaded an old file on the blog a while ago, the link died and I don't have the file anymore. How can I delete the post from the blog so that people don't spend points on it?
DM a mod would be my guess. Has the post been marked dead yet? If not, I'd start with using the report button on it
Rank:It's been dead for a while I guess. I was gone for 2 years and all my ups were dead when I returned. I've been reupping what I can but there are some that I don't have anymore.
LOL if only it was that easy to delete some of the things I've done in my past. Yet here I stand as if it were only yesterday and confess in myself disappointed.
Rank:Well... I am not sure the deleting the dead link is a good idea.
As long as it is clearly marked DEAD, then it serves as a marker for somebody else to re-up it for points.
And AnjaBear could spend days/weeks going through all the dead posts and old requests that were filled.
*For the record, I volunteered to help with that aspect, but... it went nowhere.
There is a section on every Upload you can report as Dead. It might be easier for you to browse your uploads and report the ones that are no longer valid by clicking them.
Rank:They were reported as dead and I got mail telling me to reup in a week or 200points would be deducted, but this came a year ago when my mega was busted.
Thank you @AnjaBear, I hoped I didn't have to bother you with stuff like that. I appreciate it and I hope I knew who spend their points on it so I could return them.
