This is killing me. It is so un-intuitive. How do I delete stuff that I set? Everything is in the right place on Frame 1. The characters are moving all over the place on the timeline when I'm at Frame 24 or whatever. I go to the hamburger menu on the timeline, the one that's available when I go to advanced settings, and there is an option for "Delete keyframes for selected nodes". I hit shift and select every node in the scene, wanting to delete everything and start over. But when I've "deleted" them, it's still the same. The characters move over wildly and so does the camera, as if I've done nothing.

I CAN'T WALK BACK MISTAKES. IT SUCKS!

Instead I have to save everything that I do every time I do a key frame correctly. Every time I mess up, I have to reload a scene subset, which takes forever given the size of my asset library and all the morphs. I just want to delete everything so that Frame 30 looks exactly the same as Frame 0 or 1. No movement. Static, like I didn't do anything. Why the actual **** is this so hard to figure out??? This is killing me and making any kind of workflow impossible. Daz is such a **** animation program.

Yes, I know I should move everything to Blender, but I can't make geografts (ie genitals) work correctly using Diffeomorphic. Please stop with that lecture and help me do it in Daz.

These factors are making the whole project impossible. Please help.

You have to expand and look for the specified part to delete the keyframes. The triangle is just an indicator, it just shows that at this frame there are keyframes. Also animate2 and anilip are must have if you want to do animation with daz. Its bit old fashioned but animationing in daz is not as bad as many people make it out to be
    zz

Changing key inerpolation changes how the animation transition between keyframes, keep it default is usually good enough

So I've selected and deleted keys and I'm still seeing my character move wildly away from where she's supposed to be. Is there a 'go-to' thing to select that generally deletes all the keys and just leaves me with the pose on frame 0? Or is the TCB option of key interpolations the one that gets you back? Like there's like fifty nodes to open up with "properties" and all that. Is there one in particular that I should click on? Is it the triangles or the T's?

I have only seen success with "clear animations" but that just takes it back to the A pose.

Like why is there no quick option to delete everything about Frame 30, one that makes hitting play on the timeline not move after the last frame I created, say Frame 15. I delete everything about Frame 30 and I only end up with Frame 15 when I hit play? Just no movement from Frame 15 after I deleted Frame 30? In other words, I deleted Frame 30 entirely. Therefore, nothing moves on after Frame 15, whether it's Frame 30 or 45 or 300 because I have deleted everything after Frame 15?

It does sound like there could be unwanted or unexpected frame interpolation going on. Assuming keyframe 1 and 30 look the same, if you change the interpolation of the keyframes from TCB to Linear, that may stop the unwanted movement.

Unfortunately DAZ's out of the box animation tools are garbage compared to industry-standard tools, so figuring out how to fix issues like these can be really obtuse and frustrating.

I have had that exact issue with animating in Daz. The characters move wildly across the room and other weird shit. Locking positions and even zeroing the pose didn't help. The last time I ended up deleting the figures from the scene and reloading them fresh and for some reason that fixed the problem.

But the figures were at the zero pose and you had to work from scratch, no?

I initially tried to animate an existing scene, zero the poses and load the animation. Everything went pear shaped, instead of fucking, they were doing a weird zero-g epileptic seizure dance.
I had to delete both figures and load them back into the scene, and that fixed the problem.
