I like both cropped and uncropped.

You loose the moon and 1 clone dog cropped so it lacks in that. You gain a more focused image. But you loose part of the story.

If you want both, swing the camera left a bit and thighten the shot by adjusting the lens. Sometimes a straight on angle
is lacking. I like odd camera angles since peoples height, approach, head and eye angle are not always straight on.

A point I tried to make in another thread.

Thank you for your all your help and critiques. I'm very pleased and happy with your comments.

When I have more time, I'll re-render the whole scene. I'll re-align the scene, making sure that the middle of the moon align with her belly and I'll up the temperature of my lights to make them more blue. Also, maybe some god rays. I'll try to play around with the dogs but if they don't work, I'll switch them with wolves. When I'm finished with it, I'll show you the new image.

If you have other comments or anything, please share them. 😀

Try the sphere idea I did for the sun on the beach, but make the light and diffuse map a texture of the moon?

I don't think there is much wrong with it apart from the sin of too much wasted space. I cropped it, added a bit of burn brush on the dogs to give them a little less focus and it brings the image in. Personally I wouldn't have centred the moon so exactly unless I was going to weight the image so that it would be exactly symmetrical/centred as it detracts from the focus of the character.
