I haven't started the program in about a week and during that time I was adding new models to my library, obviously something went wrong.

I reinstalled Daz, I reinstalled all the essential's too,, nothing works, it looks like a bad morph has corrupted my base models,
all of them from G1 to G9.
any premade model won't load properly either.

I hope I don't have to wipe everything and start from scratch.

anyone know what I can do?

Check in use morphs and load list

It's might be a character you installed loading instantly but I doubt it would affect all characters

If its the box view thing maybe update Daz? I don't believe a g8 character would corrupt a g2 or 3 unless it was intentionally done. Maybe update your drivers or it could have been you did update your drivers? I'm not very computer knowledgeable.

At the top right corner of the viewport, near the "Perspective view" select menu, there's a cube shaped icon, click on it and switch from solid bounding box to texture shaded. You can also use Ctrl+9

That fixed it, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I didn't even notice that it was not on proper view.

I've been using DAZ since 2016, I feel stupid for not noticing.

I wonder why adding new models would change the view?

    my hero. lol.

THANK YOU for your help, we got it solved.

yeah, I have everything up to date.

For some reason when I added new models it changed my viewpoint to box, weird.

    all help is grateful.

now I have to reinstall all the models I just removed that I thought were the issue.

*chuckle* I've done this a few times in programs I'm perfectly familiar with, Blender, Photoshop, illustrator and After Effects. I think that you get so used to a program that you forget the basic stuff and ASSUME that the simple and easy selections are already made. You're so used to the advanced settings and view that you've forgotten what things look like in the simple view and figure that it's the programs fault. I try to remember that old saying 'KISS', (Keep It Simple Stupid).
