TIP: Take a trip into Geometry Editor and delete the curled polys if you don't like them. I frequently delete the ends of hair polys, or even entire strands when necessary.
Caveat 1: You can't 'Undo' the edit, but it won't affect the original hair; only the current hair in the scene. Unless you intentionally save it that way. For instance, the edit will persist in a Scene save or a Scene Subset save.
Caveat 2: If you delete the edited hair from the scene and want to reload it, the edit may persist until you quit and restart Studio.
