Does anyone know a better way of getting G3 & G8 into UE4 without re-targeting?
I would have thought this is a fairly common request, but I can't find an awful lot of info online about it.
There isn't a lot of things out there because Daz Characters are pretty much at the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of ideal models for Unreal and Unity. It can be done, but it's going to take a lot of testing, tweaking and headaches.
My son is learning games development, so we started playing around in Unreal. After that, it becomes problem solving - "This thing doesn't work, but it should. How do we get it to work?"
I'm more interested in the animation side of what it could offer - imagine not having to wait for rendering times for every frame 😀
Nexus is mod heaven. If I were to start modding stuff I would use some stuff there as reference materials and post questions there. I think they have a forum but its been awhile.
