Gauging Interest from the Community - Please let me know if interested

I have about 200 Old DAZ Freebies. I have the ability to convert them from EXE to DIM files (proper conversion, but no metadata) I figure I can make packs of them, 10 to a pack, or more if people prefer more (I know some people don't want to download things that they do not need or want, so I figured smaller packs would be better, but I can do larger ones)
The Conversion takes a few minutes per file, so doing them without at least a few people interested would not be worth the effort. The DIM files will start with DF (DAZ Freebies) and will be number based on the install number associated with them, so for example, Hand Axes (ps-fr017.exe) would be DF00000017-01_HandAxes.zip

Please let me know if you are interested. There are a bunch of props that would still be useful IMO.

Pack size is up to you but if youre looking for suggestions it would depend on the old file size I guess. I Uploaded several in groups of 50. Size doesnt really matter much in MEGA since you can create separate links in a bundle. I sometimes use old Poser props in daz. Its easy to slap on a iray shader and make it look good.

Throw 'em up, I say. Content is always good. And as Adam says, it's easy enough to retexture stuff that even if they're looking crusty, they clean up well.

I am a collector of all things, so I might be wanting to join in on this. I would, however, prefer if this was just 1-4 packs of 200 to 50 individual items per pack - just upload them individually, and people can chose what to download.

I hope you make the DIMs with images? (If they're even available)

I saw that you uploaded your first pack ShadowHawk. That's cool.

But i saw that wrote that you included the list of the content of this pack in a text file inside the folder instead of listing it in the blog description.

I know it's not all of a big deal, but i do find it a bit of a low balls move. Because that mean that if someone want to know what is in the pack content, they HAVE to pay the point first and download the whole pack. (Or maybe you just made it so people can download the file. I don't know, i didn't check.)

It's a bit bothersome because that mean you may be paying for the pack (and dealing with the minor annoyance of taking the time to download that huge pack) only to discover after that nothing in it is interesting you. 🙁

I would strongly suggest you to at least list in the description the items the pack is containing. So people would know before hand what it contain and them choose or not to download it.

Ah thank you. That give at least a good lead of what each items in the pack is.

By the way, you may not be able to edit that post's description, but i believe admins can. Maybe if we ask them nicely, they can do it for you.
