G8F Morph Loading Query.

Yes, I think I will probably end up starting from scratch & following my own advice to uninstall items once I am done with a project.

I also think clothes contribute morphs, not just characters.

if you rename the \data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs folder there are no morphs left. G8F will load with no morph, also no hidden morphs and no cloth morphs and loading times are of course extrem fast.

So a workaround would be to rename your Morphs folder and create an empty Morphs folder and just copy the morphs you want into it. But that is a lot of manual effort, to much in my opinion.

Else moving G8F to an SSD could be an alternative.

Thought I tried that. Will have to try again. May have renamed wrong folder. Its not bad now but its getting worse. If you rename it after you rename it and apply a morph by clicking the apply icon would it work I wonder.

Yes it will work, but one thing will not work I guess, saving a scene, move the morph out of the data folder and later load the scene again without the morph. Then your character will of course look different 😉

Doesn't sound like its worth the effort unless you just want to mess with custom morphs on a base figure.
