Friendship Requests

I recently received a few friend requests.
I am unsure of what my saying yes entails
1. Would I have to exchange holiday greeting cards.
2. Does this imply a duty to their families?
3. Is a change of Religion implied?
4. Would I have to go to dinner at their homes, or God
forbid, they come to mine.
5. Should I consult a lawyer, an accountant.
6. Is there any type of "Blood Oath"
7. Can they use my name on a loan application?

Many other questions too numerous to mention.
Is there a manual that states my responsibilities?

I refuse all such requests unless I know...really know the person and we've developed some level of interaction.
It's mostly people who just want the points from making the request. I imagine there's also some of that ego boost Facepagebook thingy where the more friends you have the better a person you are(?)

To be fair I like to "friend" people who seem to be into the same sort of things that I am, but I rarely delve into their finances or criminal records. Rarely... but not never mwah ha ha ha!

If this friending thing is going to be worthwhile it should include the prospect of exchanging body fluid. A sort of a Tinder/Grindr for the 3D pirate community lonely hearts. I'll start the ball rolling 😲.
