This weekend or shortly after, I'm going to wipe my mega account and start adding different stuff to it. This will include new Daz content but I am getting rid of all old links to everything. Pretty much select all delete. Anything I am currently hosting will go bye bye and I'm to lazy to re-up it. If you want to host this content then keep an eye out here and I will let you know when the deed is done. Hosting these should result in you earning some easy points. This is a chance to also give back to the site by hosting content if you cant afford to buy stuff or don't have underworld connections. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Why you want to delete your old stuff for new ??
Mega account is free to use .....If your mega account is full ... open another with new email
you can also open as much account you want with temp emailjust write down your login somewhere or else you will loose your account
And in 6 month login once ... then you will get unlimited space for all the stuff 😛Didnt really think about opening multiple accounts. Just easier for me to manage one mega account with all the other accounts Ive got. Like my hard drive. Ive got space for separate Daz installs but I just delete the folder and rebuild it every so often.
It will give members a chance to earn some points if they want I guess. Ive got other stuff on the account I want gone as well. Theres not much left after the last cleaning that I did. Mostly some really old V3 files but there are a few newer items.
Items do get downloaded, even after months. The pushing of older content to the front page helps, ofc. But in general, I see older content I've uploaded get bought fairly often. Ofc not like new content, which flies off the shelf, but the points keep trickling in.
Great! Thanks for backing it up.
Its a good cases for making the site free. I can wait 5 seconds to 5 hours and it will be on another site. If the site were free there would be no reason to go elsewhere. Not sure how that would effect the community and sharing. I dont see leeches caring much either way and sharing members never really need points.
Deed is done
