how is this for a first post in Art Showcase?
May 4, 2023 at 3:53 AM #1965810I like what you did with the character, with the lighting etc, nice nightly feel. But she and the background seem to be apart, in colour and position.
She seems to be floating, while she is posed in a lying way.I rotated the image and it looks like she is falling. Why is the pic not showing?
you used this url "https://postimg.cc/Y40GqH6H"
If you are on that page, rightclick the pic, open in new window, then you get a URL with the name of the pic "https://i.postimg.cc/3wCg1rWd/ruthnum1.jpg"
This is the oone you use in the IMG

May 4, 2023 at 5:43 AM #1965832Ah OK.
curious about the next entry ... 🙂May 5, 2023 at 2:45 PM #1966413Only nitpicks are that it looks flat. Like you rendered her and dropped the image on another picture.
The second is the ball looks cartoonish compared to her. She looks fairly realistic, but the ball doesn't. It appears to be bright but giving off no light.
Other than that I like it.
May 8, 2023 at 10:38 AM #1967908@tokyiro Excellent piece IMHO.
Lighting and tone fantastic and studio photo realistic.
Is there a postwork process here? Filtering or Lightroom/LUT or similar?
Looks magazine or publishing level good. Love the blues and reds in the lighting and skin reflections. Lighting amount and vignetting is excellent, too. Composition ethereal and evocative.
Highly artistic. Great work.May 10, 2023 at 1:32 PM #1969035thank you, there is some postwork made and some lut+color change, i have presets for photoshop that i often use and then i change things on the preset as the theme/render needs sometimes i put the same render togheter with dif presets and put one on overlay or something like that
