filled but NOT filled

I am seeing several files I have requests for tagged as filled but I didn't get any links.....
WTH???

It's possible that they were filled by Medusa. He tends to post the links in the comments section forgoing collecting any points. Best to check and see if someone hasn't posted them on the blog yet.

Medusa left and killed all his MEGA links in the posts after various users here attacked him for the accusations made against him. @Legolas18 has been cleaning up the supposedly infected installer files, and posting them in the Blog. If anything is missing at the moment it is because the MEGAs listed at the bottom of those posts has been deleted. If there is something particular you are looking for, let me know and I will see if we can get a copy added to the Blog once they have been cleaned of any and all malware/viruses - if that is even possible. Otherwise we will have to Request them again, fresh from other sources.

Is there a list of the affected files or is there any info on what the malware happened to be, or would do to machine? I noticed some files with a .bat "a little warning" in them, but review of the rest of the package I don't see any other files that might cause harm. searching the forum looks like the messages discussing this issue have disappeared. Just trying to make sure I don't unzip anything that might give me the Herp!

On linux/macos systems you can look at the table of contents of a zip archive using a command like:
unzip -l filename.zip

Sometimes you will see that a couple of "extra" files have been added to the zip archive after it was created. Files like that are worth extra caution

the unix command:
file suspectfilename.jpg
will look into the file and report the file type. It should match the file extention.

A command like:
zip filename.zip -d "path/badfile1.jpg" "path/badfile2.dse"

Can be used to remove such files directly from an archive without unzipping the archive

Check the manpages for unzip, file and zip for more details.

wut? Medusa left? That sux. Running off good members - a shame.

Mod: Barc that was "Bogus" intent to run Medusa off and to make ZoneGFX look like a malware infested source so that people would only go to his 3D-Stuff paysite. This was a direct attack apparently to catch a user sharing 3D-Stuff's pirated files in which they were mined in a particular MEGA and shared then with users they suspected of sharing them further. But that is how SHARES work.

Don't know about most of the other files, but I can tell you that the P3D Robin, and the Robin Hair were both infected with a Trojan file... My AV software went off and deleted em both when I tried to install em, and I had to get the "cleaned" files after @legolas18 got them all taken care of. As for Medusa, I'm sorry to hear they've decided to depart. I had no problem with what happened, as it was quickly resolved in my case.

I won't get into it - because it has been an ongoing bitchfight I don't want to be involved in between two pirates who chose to fight on our site.

As to WHO put what malware into which files is questionable, so I word myself carefully. I'm tired of all the bullshit when I write stuff here and taking sides, so I am going to remain vague when I do not know what is truly going on. Period.

Some of the files I listed as "supposedly" at that time - were NOT confirmed - hence my choice of words.
