False Report?

Anyone else getting their posts falsely reported for Links broken?

I had my post for Up Close 4 being reported for the Mega Link not working but it's definitely still working and brings up the asset instantly.

I'll bet that it's from people who's AV or anti-phising plugin blocks it because the link is from here, a pirate site.

I get the occasional Microsnot Defender "Virus detected" when downloading, where it removes the file the moment it hits the disk. It started when MS decided to start doing "AI" "Realtime protection" checks.

Funny thing - if you disable Defender, download the file, then turn Defender back on and scan the downloaded file, no virus is found.

If DAZ Made a Linux version of Studio, I'd dump Windows right now (Yes, I tried using it through WINE on a Linux server, yes it works, but the UI behaves slowly enough to constantly irritate me.)

But that's something different to the link not being available.

That person reported my link not working at all... although I could also see the other side, that they tried to get a free link from me for something they didn't pay the points for. That person has like no history at all here, no posts, no forum, nothing, so maybe not even points to get assets.

So they tried to scam you for a free download. That kinda sleazebag should be reported and banned. You could also post their name here so that we know who to watch for.

I would forward the broken link PM to warrant with an explanation. Hopefully he'll ban the bastard.
