It's been said before, but let's say it again:
Cheers to @Griyar for all the hard work in converting great assets!
November 9, 2021 at 7:13 PM #1747283Thanks a lot, my friend!👍🌏🪐
November 10, 2021 at 8:23 PM #1747565@griyar I'm very pleased to see conversions of some Tempesta characters.
I do hope you will do more.
🙂
November 10, 2021 at 10:15 PM #1747597November 21, 2021 at 7:45 AM #1750798Question - are these conversions "better" than just using DS built-in autofit? I suspect the OP has done a lot more work to ensure that converting assets is much better than Daz native conversion for clothing. If and for that he deserves accolades.
I've constantly got big problems with cross generation autofit as it seems to destroy the clothing bones once you move a collar or shoulder (or legs) away from the T-pose.November 21, 2021 at 10:33 AM #1750835Fit Control is a boon for situations like that.
It can cope with most issues.
🙂
November 21, 2021 at 2:51 PM #1750945frank21 I have tested both methods and yes the converted items are loads better. my hat is off to Griyar for the work he is doing. just outstanding man !!!
November 21, 2021 at 3:42 PM #1750962Excellent work for only a single item. The multiple item conversion bundles are incredible. Marvelous effort.
I think the multiple bundles should be posted at 250 points as a minimum - to reward the effort made, for our benefit... 🙂

I use Fit Control quite a bit but I don't think it's useful for fixing the issues I mentioned. Like when you raise an arm and the shirt armpit kind of stretches into strange shapes.G8F with G2F dress
November 22, 2021 at 7:26 AM #1751128It can be a bit fiddly, but you can usually improve / eliminate that by tinkering with the Fit Control morphs.
November 22, 2021 at 10:11 AM #1751146First, big thanks griyar! 🙂
Side-tracking the thread, but it's cool. I would like to add to that mesh issue Frank21 and Eelgoo, I recently had a similar problem with a t-shirt when posing the hand over the figure's head. Increased the SubD to 4, upped the smoothing iterations to 5 and switched to generic shape smoothing. Looked really good.
Also, I've found some items convert better with Daz's autofit and others with Riversoft Art's clothing converter. If one doesn't do well, it's worth it to try the other.
