This has been a 6-hours long Poser render... for Firefly, this is ridiculously long... blame the reflections with IDL
Thank you! I had to add two point lights, with a blue hue, inside the tube, to achieve a proper inside light (and, make reflections go berserk, as there are reflections on both sides of the glass, both from the inside, AND outside). Otherwise it would be a very dim, flat render
Like @eelgoo, very nice lighting. Reflections can be so awesome AND bothersome, but you nailed it.
Reflections, I can work with. Often, I try my most to have, at least a subtle kind of reflection, whenever possible. But, two-sided ones can be a pain, in render times. My worse scenario, was when I tried creating a "mirror room", with all 5 planes used fro ceiling, walls and floor, started reflecting... the reflections of the other planes. Needless to say, the system collapsed, from the complexity.

ArthurGLooks cool and I like the reflections off the glass. Only thing that bugs me a little is
no hair anywhere. Im all for a shaved cat and Id try a Star Trek 1 chick with no problem but even most infants come out with a head of hair.That would be because the "embryo" title is a bit metaphorical, and, all and any hair would be carefully shaved by robotic arms, to ensure minimal contamination of the tank fluids
