Greetings
So, recently, I have had a couple of PMs for folks "fufilling' requests that are already in the blog...
Here is an example:
I have a request in for XYZ, USER! posts it in the blog, and I download it.2-12 Hours later, USER2 sends me a PM, providing a link to requested xyz asset.
Now I TRY to update my request posts as I get the assets, but with hundreds of requests out, I don't get to all of em.
How do most of you deal with this situation? I realize that points are the fuel that keeps the Zone Engine Runnin'.....
If it was posted by a different user, then I inform the filler that the item is already on the blog.
If it's the same person, I pay the points and inform him how to do things for future reference.
I just give the points. I'd like to think my request spurred the user to fulfill the request/Post on the blog in the first place, so it's only fair I don't change my commitment to contribute points for their gesture.

It can be unfortunate to send a PM link and find someone has already downloaded it, but if already done so several hours ago - oh well!!!The other annoying issue, although not too frequent, is when you send a link for a promissed bounty and no points are returned - even after reminders - Just blanked [even when visible as currently active]

Next time I will ask people if they are still interested in the item before I send the links
