    Thank you guys for your participation!

    , I know that these horns have heavy geometry, that's why I mentioned them. Unfortunately, a decrease in subdivision directly affects the shape of the horns, while memory consumption decreases not so noticeably. I should note that these horns are made in the most irrational way. I don't recall any other anatomical elements, accessories or clothing with such a shitty geometry.

    @littlepleasures
    , what model of video card do you have? The program log does not reflect the actual size of the geometry and textures that are loaded into vram. People talk about this on the daz forum.
    My log:
    Geometry memory consumption: 1.669 GiB
    Texture memory consumption: 3.294 GiB
    And then:
    rend error: Unable to allocate 30.518 MiB from 0.000 B of available device memory.

    The current consumption can be seen on the performance tab of the Task Manager.
    In this topic, I am not looking for ways to launch my scene by reducing the size of geometry and textures. It is more important for me to understand the causes of memory leaks. I also wonder why the entire folder "dForce Classic Blowout Hair" with all textures of all colors weighs 419 MB, and takes up gigabytes in vram.

    There are lots of color option for the hair and they are all 2k and 4k size maps which is quite normal. Im referring to the tex folder size btw.

    As for torment horn they are indeed the best looking horn out there. Its just the size is ridiculous. I also counted 10 4k texture maps inside torment texture folder just for the horn alone.

    Having said that, as you already said, there could be other factor which im afraid i have no clue at all regarding memory leak etc. My system couldnt even get past dforceing the hair down :p

    @littlepleasures, wow, thanks a lot again! I knew about the difference between 4K and 2K textures before. That is why in the render settings I set the texture compression to 1024 for medium and 2048 for high threshold. But the rest of the information is really interesting.
    Your advice on partial rendering is something that came to my mind as well. Initially, I planned an animation with this hair. But after that I decided to use simpler hair. Too many renders... 🙂
    I will also try to manually reduce the textures for horns and hair to 2K and see what happens.
