Has anyone else had the issue of dforce hair not rendering?
I can render the scalp but the wig doesn't show.
Preview PR Hairs is on as well as Render Line Tessellation. but nothing. Still no hair.
RTX 2080 ti and latest nvidia drivers and latest Daz Studio. I'm baffled. 🙁

The offending toupeee's are these -

    dforce Dark Match
    dforce Double Dutch Braids
    dForce Ezra Hair
    dForce Faye Hair
    dForce Long Morphing Hair
    dForce Soft Curls
    dForce Wilona Hair
    dForce Windflower

Had it this afternoon, the problem was having Meshgrabber active, the same would go for the geometry editor.

    @Cage

Oh, wow, I never knew this and nothing is said in the DAZ forums. Any idea how to turn these off? I'm not a native DS user.

    Thanks!

    OK got it.

I turned off the plugins you mentioned in DS.
    All working now. Thanks again.

    Happy I could help 🙂
Just having a tool like "translate" selected would do in the case I had with Meshgrabber for the actual render.

If it were happening in Iray Preview you would want to go by this:
Select the hair in the scene tab.
    Go to Parameters > All
Look for the setting “Viewport Line Tessellation sides” and click the + until the hair becomes visible.

I'm glad you know these things or I'd be completely lost. I spent a few hours trying to figure it out. Some on the DAZ forums suggested the vendors should mention this issue and I agree.

The problem occured in both preview and main render windows.
I honestly thought it was a driver issue.
Might have to borrow some of that 3D hair since I tore my hair our 🙂

I just had this happen to me, had Geometry Editor active, hair would not render. Now it is working just fine! Thank you.
