Deleting post/dead link?

I am tired of having people threaten to have points taken away or my account shutdown. How do I delete a dead link/post? It isnt worth my time trying to keep up with these items that are months old(link still works for the ones that are getting complaints). If the link keeps getting DMCA after I repost it I can't do a thing about it. I have click on several links with broken stuff but I am not going to threaten to have a persons account shutdown because they are being idiots are doing the same to me.

It is getting to the point with some people I don't even like filling request anymore because I don't want my account shutdown and the points I have lost.

if you want to repost something, you must do it when you get a msg about Link being dead, not about link being reposted. Thats for the mods, you can ignore them. Normally the person is not active and they wont see it.
