Dead Posts by People No Longer Members

OK, it doesn't happen very often, but at least twice this week, I've paid my points only to find its a dead post - and when I ask the member for a new link, it turns out the person is no longer a member.

Surely we can do better weeding out these dead posts by people who aren't around anymore...?

Was it marked already as dead? We've recently had people (very short sighted) complaining about DL stuff that was clearly tagged as dead FFS. Chill pill.. it's only 50 pts and you get 100 every day.

The problem is that they weren't marked. Plus, the member no longer existed. But you're right - they're pretty generous here with the points, and it's not that common. Just a bit annoying when it happens.
