@frank22, I surmised that 'something' was there because it took up space where something else had formerly been. Your nothing was displacing the something which caused a chain reaction of displaced somethingness's.
Now...if you put something back into your nothing, does the system return to it's former state of somethingness or is a new nothing created?
Quantum decoherence states that adding nothingness to the system will break down the somethingness and it will no longer be anything at all.....as explained by the nowhere man the Yellow Submarine movie.But I didn't really post anything so nothing existed there. Unlessss.... the idea of doing that brought that nothing into existence, therefore it's actually something, even if only abstract. I need a beer.

You are all very bored... 😀Even interstellar space is not filled with nothing. There's apparently one hydrogen atom per cubic centimeter. Fans of Larry Niven's future history series will recall how the ramscoop drive collected and burned this hydrogen in a fusion reactor for thrust.

Reality (trivial and mundane...) is what we perceive through our senses and encode in our mind. And the senses can be deceived, with optical illusions, tinnitus, virtual reality gloves, perfumes, foods with implanted colorings and flavors. ...
Likewise, our mind with political propaganda (Does Goebbels sound familiar to you...?)
Nothingness is the lack of information. We can see people suffering wars on TV, or a seriously ill family member, but we will never sensory experience that. And, unfortunately, it's good for our mental health.
