OK I just noticed this today.
Is it my installation or has support for Poser coded items been taken out?I'm seeing the Poser Runtime folder, but no arrow leading to it's content.
DAZ Studio 4.23.1.44 Beta still reads it properly.
Both iterations of Studio are reading from the same remote My Library installation.:0/
September 1, 2025 at 1:37 PM #2143515Is it still listed in your Content Directory Manager?
September 1, 2025 at 2:20 PM #2143516In 4.24, only the Poser Runtime folder itself, not the contents.
There is no right pointing arrow after the Poser Runtime text.
The final 4.23 Beta still reads it fine.
As I said, they are both referencing the same remote 'My Library'.
September 1, 2025 at 3:52 PM #2143529I understand, but one can still disable the Poser link in the CDM associated with that My Library, which would then turn it to your default Poser Libraries showing instead of the remote one.
September 1, 2025 at 5:39 PM #2143540There is nothing in the native library on any of my Daz installations.
I never use them. I have one remote 'My Library', that is it.It is just odd that on the most recent Daz iteration, it will not read the Poser content.
September 1, 2025 at 5:54 PM #2143544This is the reason why I thought it might be the case that the link to your remote My Library's Poser library linked in your CDM might have been switched back to default when 4.24 kicked in, which would have your Poser format showing but with no items in it as it is empty. But that's speculation as it didn't happen to me, although I had to set back quite the handfull of settings that were changed to defaults and other annoying things like render settings.
September 1, 2025 at 6:01 PM #21435454.24 references everything else in the library fine, it is just the Poser content it doesn't 'see.' 🙂
September 1, 2025 at 6:03 PM #2143546Well if your Content Directory Manager's Poser settings show the right path, then I'm completely lost.
September 1, 2025 at 6:05 PM #2143547Yes, I thought it was something new.
Never had any issue with earlier iterations. Not directly related, but it looks like they are pulling the plug on DS4 development.
Both the 'canary' & the Public Beta are showing 'Pending' for about a month now!

September 1, 2025 at 6:09 PM #2143549Have you tried to delete the path for your Poser Library and reentering it again? Only the Poser path, not the Daz one. Their path is identical, but since your Daz one is alright, better not touch it.
September 1, 2025 at 6:12 PM #2143550If it was an issue on both, it might be worth trying, but that is not the case.
My assessment is that they have switched something legacy [ Poser ] related in the coding.September 1, 2025 at 6:16 PM #2143552As I say, I have 4.24.0.3 also and do not have the problem (yet, knock on wood). That seems to be a case for a ticket on the Daz3D Forums.
September 1, 2025 at 6:25 PM #2143554TBH It is a bit surprising it hasn't been flagged there already.
It isn't that big a deal for me, I am quite happy with the previous Beta.
I was just wondering if anyone else had come across the issue.
September 1, 2025 at 9:27 PM #2143572Both 4.24 and 2025 alpha, see and load poser files normally under the Poser format libraries. I too use only remote libraries, so that's a strange problem you're facing.
September 2, 2025 at 8:44 AM #2143645Now that is odd. Thanks for the info. 🙂
