Hello guys, im still learning the basics, i have a question, i concluded that rending a video clip with Daz can take 200 hours to render is that true ? if its true how are you rendering ? are you waiting so much time ? or are what are you doing with DAZ ?

There are so many variables to this issue.

A stonking nvidia equipped PC is going to be a lot quicker than a potato.

A simple scene is relatively going to render quicker than a more complex one.

There are also some ways to streamline the rendering processes, which usually involve aftermarket add ons.

a video clip with Daz can take 200 hours to render is that true ? It depends on the resolution and length of the clip, as well as the scene and lighting complexity.

if its true how are you rendering ? Most people only render still images with daz.

are you waiting so much time ? No, nor I would render an animation with Daz.

what are you doing with DAZ ? STILL IMAGES!

If you want to render animations in DAZ, I would suggest either making a simple scene with very few details and a short "clip" (a few seconds) and a low resolution, or using real-time rendering in another program.

It can take quite a few hours to create that "1 image" though, depending on complexity.

The difference is that one person can make one image in a few hours of work. And yet, it requires quite a bit of knowledge to make the picture "perfect" and quite a bit of work.

On the other hand, one person cannot make an equally complex animation in a few hours of work. The resources required (not just assets, but time and effort as well as rendering) are exponentially many more.

That's why most people here don't bother, we are mostly hobbyists, not pro animators.
