    Greetings!

Does anyone know of a way to turn on physics simulation for hair (or clothing) exported from Daz to UE5.3/4? I know that there is a way of creating a groom asset via a Blender plugin, but that is really a hit or miss (i.e. things like http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/92121/ do not work at all. The assets I am using are 99% legitimately owned, but the vendors were generally not really helpful.). So is it possible to just use the official Daz to UE5 plugin for exporting the hair and adding physics/turning it into a groom?

I am asking here because a, pirates are usually quite resourceful, b, I was banned from the official forums (appeal still ongoing), if this post breaks a rule then please remove it.

    Thank you in advance.

    hi

The Blender groom export plugin works fine, used it to create the groom here for Baxter.

If you want physics in UE Groom is the way to go.
