Yes you read it correctly. others over at DAZ forums have had problems with D-Force not working correctly in the latest DAZ studio.

    Examples are Linday hair.
Non appear to work when the initial poses are applies.
I tried it with three of Linday's hair products and they all fell forward instead of being behind the shoulders with a general standing pose.

In the last Daz Studio they worked fine.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I usually tend to avoid D-Force entirely.

I mean, it's neat and all, but having to sit around waiting forever for a simulation to complete is tedious as all heck. Sitting through a render I can understand, but having to effectively double that waiting around by adding DForce? Nope.

Thanks for the information, but as I stated in my first post Dforce was working fine in the last release of DAZ studio with or without character morphs. Now it isn't behaving as it used to.

When I wanted hair behind the shoulders
it would do just that...or explode.
But now it fall forward no matter what settings I apply.
So what gives this time. Have DAZ messed up again because it appears so.

I don't usually use it unless I want hair in a position others can't achieve without a huge amount of messing with settings. I will put it through Zbrush next time to see if results are better.

    Thanks @LivingPixels.

I downloaded DS only a few weeks ago after being away from it for a while.

No I don't have the Beta version only Pro.

You are luckier than me. The exploding started when Dforce first arrived.
Nothing was complex for this to happen. The pose was a straight standing up with the head tilted back a little. After a few months and some updates all seemed fine.

I will take your advice and see if anything changes.

    Thanks again.

Thank You @LivingPixels, I hate dForce, older (but with well designed morphs) products gave better results in far less time... However your hint is welcome but really Daz should provide at least decently working default parametres... (not to mention accurate information about the product).
