I meant to do something completely different but then this happened instead and this is why I rarely get the things I start working on finished.
That is a powerful image, but although it conveys a message it is potentially mixed & a paradox.

@eelgoo - I have a thing for mixed messages :p I was playing with some ideas for the classical Lady Justice whilst browsing the news, which was a silly thing to do.
Hence the elements of justice, corruption, priorities for self VS others, ethics/empathy and the lack of them. Also goya beans. Ugh.

There's not too much postwork. I try to get things as set up as possible just in the render and I had a grumpy bitch of a time getting the lighting right with this one.
It's a combination of interior lights within the scene (hospital hallway) with the emission turned down a fair bit. A fill, key and rim light and then a very low intensity HDRI. Had to remove a few walls and doors to get the light from the HDRI where I wanted it.I'm trying to get better at using depth of field so this was good practice to get the balance between
Ivanka Trumpthe main figure and the bodybags in the hallway.Postwork is mostly colour toning - I wanted more of an overall blue theme so I adjusted the colour balance then used a single, very low opacity bright blue layer set to "pin light".
Duplicated the background layer, boosted exposure & contrast, gaussian blurred the shit out of it then set it to soft light.Repeated the soft light effect, set it to screen and softly erased most of the image out to to get some finer glow and highlights where I wanted them. Added a few light leaks and soft flares by hand, a tiny bit of grain and that's it. I think.
If I remember what else I did, I'll add it!

I'll put a "wear your shades" warning if I do anything this bright again :pI really like this. The one thing I can point out that stands out to me is the bills. Bills are almost never straight up like that. And having all the bills exactly like that makes them look more like credit cards than actual bills due to how the lighting and post-work was done. Just my 2 cents.
I like the image as well. But for me it is the over-blown white that causes a loss of detail in the dress and the floor where she stands. Other than that it looks good.
