So, someone is posting crappy previews, not going to mention names, you've seen them. STOP DOING THIS Makes the site look bad, like minimum effort. Post the original previews going forward. If you are not intending to do this, ask for help. It just brings down the overall awesomeness of the site.
There are guidelines for posting new content, follow them, provide ORIGINAL quality ZIPS, RARS, PNGS, JPGS, ETC... don't change anything.
Thanks

December 19, 2019 at 6:32 PM #1384705Upon checking my posts (not something I normally do) I'm pretty sure you're talking about me. I personally think it would've been easier to just use my name, but fortunately I figured out it was me anyway 😛
Anywho, here's the instructions I've been following:
"Hunter has found an alternative image hosting site for us to use.
https://postimage.io/web.php
As you will see, this site uses the images url to upload that image.
To obtain the required url simply right click on the main image of the product on it’s native site and select ‘Copy Image Address’, then paste that into the box you see on ‘postimage’.
Once the link has been generated you will see a number of options, from these you need to copy the link listed as ‘Direct Link’."That's what I've been doing, to the letter. Are those instructions incorrect? The image I'm address-copying is the main preview picture (the big one you don't have to click on).
Was there anything else wrong with my posts? The all caps portion of your post seems to imply the shared files themselves are somehow messed up as well.
Anyway, thanks for any help.

December 21, 2019 at 8:28 PM #1388037Much much Apologies. nah, just the preview, i was having an awful day. I had just found out that the Agency i work for decided not to renew the contract, my last day is 11 JAN 2020 and was really in a mood (still not happy, but i'll figure something out, happens a lot in my field, but finding out during the holiday season is the worst). I could have been much nicer, and apologize for being a jerk. I would like to send best Christmas wishes your way, and hope you can forgive me for being a jerk. Thanks for looking in to it. Hope all is well.

December 22, 2019 at 12:55 AM #1388303My company forced me to move to another location since they were down sizing. Its an hour drive to another location vs 10 minutes. Guess its ok since ive still got a job but, it sux. Bah Humbug... 😉
December 22, 2019 at 2:44 PM #1389211@Aftyrbyrn Sorry to hear about your job situation. I have a few friends in IT and Graphics related fields so I'm definitely familiar with the woes of contract work. I wish you the best of luck in picking up your next gig.
At everyone, I do still feel that there's something wrong with my previews compared to most, some appear clipped. It mostly seems to happen regarding non-Daz store preview pictures which don't have a standardized size, not sure why it's not autofitting them, although that would end up with them appearing as smaller pictures with large white areas below (which I have noticed on a couple other people's posts). Just did a search on my own posts to recheck and they appear to be autofitting them, but they also seem to be blurry. Ugh, any suggestions would be appreciated if anyone knows a trick to make them look better or if the instructions I'm following are outdated. It is supposed to be the "direct link" picture, right?
Hope everyone has a Happy Chrismahanakwanzakah and good fortunes in the new year. It's the year of Cyberpunk 2020, woohoo! We're finally here in the dystopian future 😛

December 22, 2019 at 6:00 PM #1389468One of the best Sci-Fi movies to ever exist took place this year. Original "Blade Runner"
December 23, 2019 at 3:24 AM #1390021Yes, hoping that game will be good. Somehow I only just realized about a week ago that they are releasing the game based on Cyberpunk 2020 in 2020 😛
Fun fact about Blade Runner: Soldier (1998, starring Kurt Russell) was written as a sidequal to Blade Runner set in the same universe.
December 23, 2019 at 5:16 AM #1390109Another good movie. Didn't know that. Reminded me of the Clan in BattleTech.
Soldiers deserve soldiers sir. I could watch them 20 times in a row and not get tired of them. Not like the crap hollywood is pooping out today. They rely on CG instead of script.
