    Hi guys,

So, I was wondering about the possibility of converting existing geoshells made for Iray into PBR. I'm already using a trick to make old G8 Geoshells working with G8.1 and G9, but on some PBR skins, it sucks big time. I selected Weighted instead of PBR in the surface options, but even with weaking sliders in the menu, it's still far from perfection.
Since, it's a possibility to convert characters (something I can be interested in), maybe the same can be done with this kind of stuff? 🙂

I have some G8 geoshells going on the top of the skin like bruises, cuts, tatoo, etc, they use an Iray Uber shader. When trying to apply them to some G8.1 or G9 using PBR skins, the tone of the geoshell is off and totally messed up. I already have to load a G8 figure, load the Geoshell on it, go in surface tab to copy the torso part material, because G8.1 and G9 don't have torso splitted in two : body and head. then I load the geoshell on the new figure selecting Body and Head in surface tab, I have to load the iray shader first or nothing will work, then I paste the surface from the G8 figure. last thing is to go in geometry for both body and head and select g8 figure or the shell will be misplaced.
Since you don't have the choice to apply a PBR shader instead of the Iray one, my question was : do you think, it is a way to modify the geoshell itself to no longer work with Iray Uber in the first place, but with PBR

Sorry my bad, I realize I should have added the Uber part eventually.^^
