So I'm thinking of downloading the latest version of Daz to see if it will fix an issue I've been having.

The issue: When I wear certain hairs, my SY Breast Helper morphs don't work. Basically, I've saved scene subsets with the character having no hair and the morph works when I load in the subset. I put hair on the character, save the subset, and when I load it, Breast Helper Fixer doesn't work. So far, this has happened with every hair I've put on the figure, and even in older scene subsets I've loaded that had no problems before are having this issue.

I'm wondering if you guys think this bug will be fixed by downloading the latest version or if it's something else.

Also, does Daz phone home when you download the latest version? I think you have to be logged into your account, right? Do I need to change the names of my asset directories until I go offline again?

You should ALWAYS download and SAVE (SAVE! SAVE! SAVE!) the offline installer for every version of Studio. Then save them all somewhere!
This lets you install older versions if you need to. Daz won't give you older versions.
Studio DOES NOT call home. The (supposedly) upcoming Studio 5 or 6 will require an online connection and be hidden behind a paywall.
Whether older or newer versions will fix the problem is a question. I've never heard of this. Try a newer version and see.
By the way, we have almost all of the older version here somewhere. F95 also has a bunch of them.

I don't think the fix for your issue lies within DS.

    Try Fit Control instead.

Whilst I have used the SY product, Fit Control is my go to for clothing fits.

It isn't perfect, but it is versatile & useful.

    🙂

I actually installed the latest version and it fixed the issue. I use Fit Control occasionally, but usually for other things.
