Clo3D and MD what's the difference

Does anybody know the difference between Clo3D software (https://www.clo3d.com/)
and Marvelous Designer, as it seems to me the two are clones of each other...don't know

Clo3D is the professional Fashion Industry version of Marvelous Designer. You can tell by the price difference which is quite substantial. Clo3D has a few more features such as customizable avatars but overall MD is definitely good enough if you're making clothes for Daz (the core functionality is the same). Basically Clo3D is aimed at actual Fashion Designers and MD at those making digital content for other applications.

@UpUp thanks for the valuable info from experience...as I did import a dress from Clo3D but in Daz it kind of broke in the seams after I added the smoothing modifier but then it's just my way as I think Clo3D is really more powerful and stable it is also smoother and doesn't take much time in response...
