I have somewhere in my mind a thought, that there is a way to clean up "my library", with the help of a small program. Unfortunately I don't know anymore what it's called.
There is so much junk left over in "my first library" after so many years and never clean it. The library is now about 800 gig big and there are around 150 assets installed. (And I always say, I am not a collector.) My gosh.......
I always install or delete everything with the help of the dim.
But now the question: Do any of you know a program? Or is there a script or something? Maybe a plugin??.. To clean up the junk in the Library.. Or should I start a fresh installation? To reinstall everything is of course a lot of work.
But maybe some of you, super-brains, can help me out to clean up My Library....
Thanks in advance.May 27, 2022 at 7:02 AM #1812698After removing with DIM go to product pane and delete the product will keep your library organized.

So the choice seems to be either go through your library and clean out what you no longer want, or start a new library and install stuff, eg. your most used products first.
I have to admit I've got quite a lot of old stuff I never use anymore like Genesis to Genesis 3. I could delete the figures/clothes etc. but there's still all the textures and data files that would be hard to find. Starting a clean library might be the way to go, and gradually install things as you need them. A bonus is that DS will run faster when it's leaner. Whatever you choose won't be fun.May 29, 2022 at 6:20 AM #1813409Just reformat all your drives and install Manjaro KDE. Then forget Daz exists.
You'll be saving your sanity and adding years to your life. 🙂
Wait... 800GB and only 150 assets? My runtime is nearly a TB and is nearly 3000 products.
Who needs to clean up now?May 30, 2022 at 7:59 AM #1813718Thank you for your advice. I am going to have a shower now.
