And about the dead posts @gelstat - I had my fair share of dead posts here because I haven't been active here for 18+ months. Someone else reposted them, and I really don't mind.
Anyway, most of the dead post content can be found in the wild, and if anyone can benefit from reposting them here, earning some points in the process and keeping blog alive and running, I see no harm done there. Better to have it all here, my personal opinion.

I found this community few years ago. Hang around because of the amicable atmosphere.
Maybe because we still remember the beginning of the net, we are a bit more patient, our requests and questions set in an less demanding tone ( for the lack of better words)
I think this ethics should be taught as well as how to earn some extra points, for I do not have the feeling that happens enough IRL. So we can not even blame the new users.
I to stayed away here for a while after a discussion about "NSFW" images.
Shame human kind is reverting to a primeval state when it comes to communication...I do have fun, and I would love to meet you guys in a pub to discuss further on all matters.

I am a lighting consultant for movies, etc.
When a scene is filmed against a "blue screen" there is a man there with a
"Light Pole" and photographs for reference (lighting)
Months later in postproduction they find problems in matching the lights.
I have a standard deal in place for over 15 years. I can match the light
in 48 hours or I advise I cannot.

DoneSo, you're the one to ask (or blame) for the lights when the blue screen scenes come in my hands for post... I didn't think that there were dragons and gold lairs in Hobbit...
Although nowadays I'm more into Metahuman, because their birthplace company is in my hometown, so we cooperate in MoCap, AR and VR stuff via Microsoft hololens. So, no heavy HDRI need for me atm.That's why I bid on characters mostly. And some Blender/UE plugins.

Im approaching 60 and if life taught me anything it is to enjoy the simple things because most of life is sh!t.
I know if I spent a week perfecting an environment and the day after it released it was pirated, I'd reconsider my life choices. Especially considering these guys dont make anything close to what movies bring in.
Do you think people would post here if points were to go away?
