???Character Converter

Does anyone know if Character Converter for G3 - G8 only works with Daz 4.12? Ive been trying with 4.11 but keep getting errors no matter the G3 base character. No morphs of mine added.

I dont want to go 4.12 because it screwed up my PC last time.

It's strange. This script is "DAZ Studio version 4.9.3.166 filetype DAZ Script", so it should work from version 4.9. I use it in 4.10 and there is no problem. WARNING! These Riversoft scripts need a CMS connection: Without it, they won't work.

CMS is using port 17237, so it should be working.

If you can acess to "smart content", CMS is running.

Does the character need to be in the smart content folder? mine is in ''my library'' as I added it manually.

Ok. "Manually": No metadata, no in database, no in CMS. 😀 Use always a installer like "Content package assist" for renderosity, renderotica, etc...and cross the fingers. What character is?

oscar for g3. Im not worried about the morphs I applied. But if its not going to work without being installed via dim, then I could probably just install him that way. I made my own character from him.

I've recently used the G3->G8 converter, worked great (except the eyes got messed up, as was expected).
From what I understand, there are known issues with certain characters, or heavily-dialed models, but I don't know about stopping on errors.
