IMO there are better looking child Genesis 3/4 characters than the old Kids 4. After Angel Wings had a big fight with Daz/Rendo and deleted her stores, nearly all of her characters are no longer available, but some are still on here.... Christina, Aster, Tiffany, Ruby etc.
I don't want to go into the whole AW vs Daz thing but let's say it left neither side looking mature and her departure from the 3D scene far less than cordial.Thanks for the info. The reason I want these characters converted is because I created my own hand drawn ocs using them and so now trying to use any other character for them feels/looks weird to me. If that makes sense?
Well, I could transfer the morph using genx, sadly, the skin was impossible. I mean, I converted it using texture transfer, but Genesis 8 female doesn't read the converted kid4 skin.If you're willing to put the work into it by wrapping one character to another, there is Wrap 3D, which I use and Grouchy Old Fart mentioned, or there's SoftWrap for Blender (also on here) which I've never used but it supposedly does the same job.
They are the only ways I know of aside from sculpting one figure to match another.@TashioBee
I used this tutorial to teach me Wrap3D. It's not the best quality but it's the only one I found that covered all the steps for Genesis 8. It's also easy to adapt to full figure uses and he has another tutorial for face only.
I recommend watching it fully first as he does make a few errors before correcting them.
