Can't transfer points

I am trying to transfer points to someone who is in my group of friends but it keeps saying that the recipient wasn't found, please try again. It says I have a daily transfer limit of 10K and I am trying to transfer an amount way below that. Can anyone help me with this please.

My only advice is make sure you are sending it to their actual username, not display name. For instance you are cynthiaknight, and I'm Cynthia when it comes to usernames.

I tried to look up the persons username and it is the same as the display name unless I am looking in the wrong place.I guess I will send them a note and see if their user name is the same as their display name. Thanks for the help.

hover your mouse over the username. on the bottom left, their actual username will display. If it is in fact the same, then you'll need to contact a mod.

The username and display name are the same so I guess I need to get a hold of a mod.

Be aware that some people substitute characters, like a lower case L for a 1 or a zero for a capital O. Make sure you look closely. A mod can definitely tell you the actual user name if you can't figure it out. Or, like you said, contact the user and ask them.

Well I even tried to copy and paste both the display name and user name without any luck. I have reached out to both the person and the mods for help here. Thanks for the help in figuring the issue out.
